On Sunday, February 2, St. James’ welcomes Bishop Alinafe Kalemba as guest preacher at our 10:15 am service. Bishop Alinafe Kalemba is the bishop of Anglican Diocese of Southern Malawi. He served the dioceses as a parish priest, and Bishop James Tengatenga’s Canon to the Ordinary and then Dean of Leonard Kamungu Theological College before returning to parish ministry from where he was elected diocesan bishop in 2013. Bishop Alinafe is married to Mercy and they have two children, Mpatso and Alinane. He was trained at Zomba theological College, the University of Malawi and Durham University in the UK. He is enthusiastic about evangelism and church growth.
Bishop Kalemba is visiting the Diocese of Texas with his first stop in Austin at St. David’s and St. James’. He will go on to Waco and east Texas.
