Jazz and Conversation at Cactus Cafe: with Rabbi Neil Blumofe
On Wednesday evening (7/20) @ 7:30 pm at the Cactus Cafe (2247 Guadalupe), we will feature an evening of jazz and conversation lifting up the hard-bop pianist and composer, Horace Silver. The historic Cactus is located in the UT Student Union — it is perhaps the premier listening space in the city.
We will explore the life and spiritual development of Horace Silver, and through his music and message, address important contemporary topics of our world. The evening is called Horace Silver and the Art of the Blues.
A free show, featuring some of Austin’s finest musicians.
