In Common at Camp Allen
We are excited to invite you and your congregation to In Common 2022, March 25-26 at Camp Allen. This year’s theme is Better Together: Understanding the Intersection of Race and Health in Your Community. We will spend our time discussing topics related to understanding social impacts on health outcomes, racial justice, community organizing, and more. There is no charge to attend or for overnight accommodations. We encourage you to bring a team of people to attend all of the workshops so you can discuss what you learned from the various offerings.
The gathering will include a Friday keynote by Bishop Kai Ryan speaking on the role of congregations in community advocacy, a Saturday keynote by Professor Aabha Brown on the intersection of Race and Health, an HJAN social hour, workshops on building healthy communities, faithful citizenship, and racial justice.
