  • Packing food bags Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 8-10:30 AM and 11-2 PM
  • Diaper delivery Fridays afternoons.
  • Truck unloading Mondays 10:45 am to 12 pm.
If interested, please contact emily@welcometableaustin.org.  We are limited to 8 volunteers per shift in the space, so please don’t come without signing up first. About the program: “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” is a partnership between Neighbor 2 Neighbor/Welcome Table, Hope Food Pantry, Good Apple, and CapMetro. Welcome Table has hosted a regular food pantry/community center at St. James’ Episcopal Church since 2011. When coronavirus hit, we joined the Stay Home Stay Healthy Initiative to provide free home delivery of non-perishable food and fresh produce to seniors and medically vulnerable neighbors. With great attention paid to social distancing, hygiene, and cleaning best practices, we pack and deliver food and hundreds of diapers out of St. James’ each week.
