    • 7:00 pm-8:30 pm Youth Connections Group Fall Kickoff (optional, arrive early to eat pizza outside between 6:30 pm – 7 pm). (Founders Hall)

    • 1 pm – 3 pm, Austin Area Episcopal Youth Community (EYC)  Paintball Game Day (Off-site, Outdoors)

OCTOBER

  • Sunday, October 3, 
    • 10:30 am and 5 pm services, youth serve as lector and intercessor (in-person);
    • 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm Youth Connections Group. (Optional, arrive at 6:30 to eat dinner on your own/with family). Topic: Where do you stand: The Gospel according to whom? (Off-site)
  • Saturday, October 9
    • 10 – 11 am, Feast of St. Francis de Assisi: Pet Blessing. (On campus)

    • 12 Noon Coffee Hour. St James’ and UBE Myra McDaniel Chapter’s annual celebration. Details to be announced.

 

LOOKING AHEAD

Confirmations will be held on December 19 during Bishop Kai Ryan’s visit to St James’. Our youth minister Simone Monique Barnes, youth sponsors, St. James’ clergy, and Rector, The Rev. Eileen O’Brien, would love to support youth in grades 8th through 12th in their discernment and journey towards being confirmed in the Episcopal Church.
