Dear People of St. James’,
I wanted to let you know about some new opportunities to help out with Neighbor 2 Neighbor during COVID times. We are working to connect our most vulnerable neighbors (55+ or immunocompromised) with free food delivery. Soon, we will begin making some of those deliveries through a packing and distribution site at St. James’.
There’s a big need for volunteers in a range of tasks supporting these efforts, particularly those who 1) are lower-risk for COVID and can help out with in-person things like packing food or making deliveries; 2) are comfortable with basic technology like google spreadsheets and can help out from home; and 3) can speak Spanish.
