Partnering with El Buen Samaritano, Latino Healthcare Network, and the Austin Latino Coalition, Proyecto Santiago will begin an outreach program to help Latino families along Austin’s “Eastern Crescent” get vaccinated. We also will distribute PPE bags with children’s masks. Visits to homes and stores in Latino communities will begin on Saturday, December 4, with training and then visits, accompanied by promotoras from the Coalition. We will do the same again on Saturday, December 11. Conversational Spanish is helpful, but not necessary.
