The Vera Gang Scott Scholarship Fund is available to all female communicants of the diocese who are pursuing a professional certification or degree from an accredited university, and who can demonstrate financial need. In 1972, Vera Gang Scott gifted a life insurance policy to establish this fund, in thanksgiving for the aid she received to obtain her higher education, including help from other women in the diocese. Previously administered by the diocesan ECW board, the scholarship fund is now under the guidance of Bishop Jeff Fisher and a selection committee.
