Dear People of St. James’,
Our small groups will have all completed the first phase of our Strategic Visioning work this Sunday, and we will be embarking on the second round. Based on what I am seeing, these conversations have been pretty amazing so far. By that I mean, you have brought your distinct voices and perspectives to the work of speaking of our identity, how we make and share meaning as a church community, signs of welcome, and what it means to be a connective multigenerational community. Some groups have had such a great time addressing the first three topics that they will have to address the fourth in the next round, and that’s okay.
Keep praying over these questions, listening to how others respond to them, and helping us shape our plans for the future!
