For December, we’re meeting at the home of Rosemary Moore on Tuesday, December 10, 6:30-8:30 pm. Email office@stjamesaustin.org to get the address and directions. We’ll have a “White Elephant” gift exchange (you might remember how much fun that was last year!). Just bring a little present from your house or attic–or maybe the one you ended up with last year–and wrap it in a Christmas package!
Rosemary also says, “I am looking forward to seeing everyone at my house and will be serving King Ranch chicken. I will also have a Vegetarian entrée and pralines for dessert.” Isn’t she the “Hostess with the Mostess?” So bring a food item to share along with your gift, and we’ll have a great time!
I also want to give everyone a head’s up for January 19. We always have a fundraiser called Peace Through Pies in celebration of Martin Luther King Day. Everyone brings pies, either homemade or store-bought, sweet or savory, we have an auction and also enjoy eating some of them too. Mark your calendar.
See you all next Tuesday for a celebration in anticipation of Christmas at Rosemary’s house!
