Celebrate National Women’s History Month with the Girl Scout Harp Ensemble
The Girl Scout Harp Ensemble, the only one of its kind in the country, will perform at The Plant in Kyle on March 22nd from 4 to 6 pm. Join us for an afternoon of music by 10 Girl Scout harpists and a special set featuring women composers by Austin Symphony principal harpist, St. James parishioner Elaine Barber.
The mission of Girl Scouts is to build girls with courage confidence and character who make the world a better place. GSHE helps the girls achieve this mission through performance, teamwork and outreach.
A silent auction, a Kendra Scott shopping opportunity, and refreshments from Central Market and the Upper Crust Bakery will help make the afternoon fun!
The event is free. Your kind, tax-free donation supports the girls as they raise money to attend the World Harp Congress in Cardiff, Wales in July 2020.
We request that you RSVP to help us anticipate our audience size.
