You can help ensure more Central Texans can vote by training to become a Volunteer Deputy Registrar’s (VDR). All that’s needed to get started is an hour of your time. After the online training, you qualify to register voters in the State of Texas.

Upcoming VDR training dates for Travis County include:

Tuesday, August 24, September 7, September 21 at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, September 11, 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Sign-up is easy. Go to https://tax-office.traviscountytx.gov/voters/volunteer-deputy-registrars, then click on either the “reserve your spot” or “register now to attend” buttons. Under the questions, “Training on behalf of an organization? If so, what organization?” be sure to list the “UBE Myra McDaniel Chapter.”
