Did you know that: Texas ranks 47th in the nation for voter registration? Our East Austin community is part of the demographic that made a difference in recent elections? One of the goals of the Union of Black Episcopalians/Myra McDaniel Chapter is “to develop a community of informed, involved, responsible, evangelists”?
UBE/Myra McDaniel Chapter will conduct a voter registration drive starting January of next year. Voter turnout will be critical in upcoming elections, and we want to lift up the voice of our community.
We need volunteers for the UBE drive, to be launched in January 2020. You can help by signing up and getting trained as a Volunteer Deputy Registrar over the next several months.
