Call for Artists: Good Friday Project

St. James’ Episcopal Church seeks artists in all media (music, dance, film, visual, literary) to participate in its 30th annual Good Friday Project, an artist-led contemplative service that offers work in response to the sacrifice and suffering of Jesus of Nazareth, and of all of us as part of our shared human experience. Past offerings have included dance, song, spoken word, and music. Each artist or group of artists usually performs a short three to five minute piece of his/her/their own choosing. This is the second time that the Good Friday Project will be held virtually. Artists are asked complete the artists form at this link (https://stjamesaustin.breezechms.com/form/gfp2021) and to submit a video of their performance and a headshot to dropbox (https://www.dropbox.com/request/R9jJWEN3fj4gwnOSXXnX) by Tuesday March 30 at 5 pm. The performances will be compiled and available for viewing on Friday, April 2nd at the 7 pm debut. The performances will continue to be available for online viewing after the debut.
