Encore: Wanting Memories

On September 5, 2026, Encore, Inversion’s community choir for singers aged 50+, will perform a concert called “Wanting Memories.” We all know someone struggling with or has passed away due to complications from cognitive decline; one day is always different from the next, and it is hard both for the person who has it and their caregivers. “Wanting Memories” is about the desire to remember, the willingness to let go, the acceptance of new realities, and, eventually, experiencing healing. This project benefits the Love Notes Chorus, a community choir for people with early-stage memory loss and their caregivers.
