An Interfaith Vigil for Uvalde and Buffalo: An Urgent Call to Love in Action

May 26, at 7:30 pm, St. James’ Episcopal Church and iACT will host An Interfaith Vigil for Uvalde and Buffalo: An Urgent Call to Love in Action. Masking will be strongly encouraged for in-person participants, and the vigil will be live streamed at https://stjamesaustin.org/. Please join us for prayer that seeks to hold lament and hope together, to create a space of sanctuary and safety for students, teachers and other members of our education community, and to call us out of our complacency into a more active way of love. We hold this vigil with an urgency heightened by the knowledge that this very weekend the NRA will be holding a rally in Houston, TX.
