On Sunday, January 16, we will honor Dr. King’s life and legacy and raise funds for Youth Missions through Peace Through PIE! This annual event is co-hosted by the Phenomenal Women of St. James’ and the St. James’ Youth group. Proceeds will go to St. James’ Youth Ministries and Welcome Table, Inc.’s CDF Freedom Schools Austin.
The event will feature both live and online auctions, pies to enjoy, and pizza pies for sustenance.
Peace Through Pie is an expression of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s dream of a “Beloved Community”, where everyone shares a piece of the pie. PTP’s mission initiates and encourages conversation about the values we share and our ability to make peace with our neighbors. Find out more here.
