Congratulations to St. James’ family member, Brother David-Luke Henton. He will be ordained on September 24 in El Paso, Tx. Brother David-Luke is a transitional deacon of the Diocese of the Rio Grande assigned to St. John’s in Alamogordo. He serves on the Advisory Committee of Rio Grande Borderland Ministries, and with his spouse, Tim Kruse, maintains a seasonal retreat ministry of hospitality and spiritual direction at St. Brigid’s Rest in the southern New Mexico mountain village of Cloudcroft. Congratulations to Kelsie Payne. She will have her number retired on September 17 at the University of Kansas. Kelsie, who currently plays for SigortaShop Kadin Voleybol Kulübü in Ankara, was a two-time All-American volleyball player, the 2016 Big 12 Player of the Year, and a member of the Kansas Final Four squad in 2015.
