Youth Connections Group

Our Youth Connections Group is a weekly small group discussion for our high school and our middle school age youth. Our gatherings are a mix of social fun, faith based teaching and learning; hands-on activities, such as art or music-making, cooking, prayer beads (Anglican rosaries); service projects for our community; and discussions of current events, hot topics, or those questions that you might be afraid are too irreverent, too basic, or too out-of-bounds.

Gatherings are held Sundays evenings at 6:30 pm, off-site at various locations around town, or on-site outdoors in the grove at the picnic tables and in Founders’ Hall where there is enough space to safely distance, or online for virtual gatherings.

Due to Covid precautions, all attendees must wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth when indoors. (We also encourage all youth and adults to be fully vaccinated. St James’ staff are vaccinated and tested regularly for Covid-19.)

(During Stage 5 covid surges, youth ministry events are either held outdoors or online.)

Youth who cannot attend in-person, but wish to join the gathering virtually, please contact Simone for the private Discord or Zoom link.

To maintain a safe space for our youth, detailed schedule information is sent privately via email or text to parents, youth, and youth sponsors only.

RSVP to Simone familyministry@stjamesaustin.org.
