Mary has authored ten books; the subjects include the spirituality of living with illness, rule of life, Celtic Christian spirituality, the Desert Mothers, and Julian of Norwich. Love Notes Chorus (LNC) is Austin’s first Alzheimer’s choir. Through generous funding from the Episcopal Diocese of Texas, LNC is able to offer free weekly ZOOM meetings on Mondays from 10-11 AM for those with memory loss, their care partners, and a group of volunteers. Each ZOOM meeting includes physical and vocal warm up exercises, singing familiar songs together, exploring each song’s history, and sharing a story or memory sparked by the songs.
