About the program: “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” is a partnership between Neighbor 2 Neighbor/Welcome Table, Hope Food Pantry, Good Apple, and CapMetro. Welcome Table has hosted a regular food pantry/community center at St. James’ Episcopal Church since 2011. When coronavirus hit, we joined the Stay Home Stay Healthy Initiative to provide free home delivery of non-perishable food and fresh produce to seniors and medically vulnerable neighbors. With great attention paid to social distancing, hygiene, and cleaning best practices, we will be packing and delivering 8000 pounds of food and hundreds of diapers out of St. James’ each week, starting this Friday.
