The Skeptics’ Supper Club (Austin Youth Event)
Skeptics’ Supper Club, Special Edition: Racism
Skeptics‘ Supper Club is a monthly small group discussion for students in grades 6-12. Join students from Episcopal churches around Austin coming together over Zoom to discuss those questions that you might be afraid are too irreverent, too basic, or too out-of-bounds.
Normally Skeptics’ Supper Club meets during the academic school year, and takes a break for the summer. We feel that our meetings have been a safe space to talk about difficult topics, and right now there is a difficult topic we need to talk about: Racism. Youth ministers and One Human Race are offering this safe space for students to talk.
We encourage youth to have their favorite snack or comfort food ready and join us on Thursday, June 11, at 5pm
