The Rite of Reconciliation of the Penitent can be found on page 447 of the Book of Common Prayer. This one-on-one rite with a clergy person is an opportunity to say out loud those things that are keeping you from being in right relationship with God and others, to resolve to set out on a new path with God’s help, and to hear gracious words of forgiveness and release spoken. Lent is an exodus journey of liberation, and so many people find that participation in the Rite of Reconciliation is an important turning point on that new pathway. If you would like to schedule an appointment for the Rite of Reconciliation, please contact The Rev. Eileen O’Brien, The Rev. Jim Harrington, or The Rev. Robby Vickery.
