DESCRIPTION:It’s that time of year again to taste some real Texas Red and to select the best chili among the entries by St. James’ chili cook teams.\nDid you hear the big news? In the spirit of respecting diverse chili traditions and eating behaviors, there will be a Vegetarian award category this year! Come on now…\nDate: Sunday, November 7\nTime: After the 10:30 am service\nRules:\n· Sign up your cook team HERE.\n· If you are competing you will need to bring: your chili in a crockpot, a ladle, and any special condiments.  Decorations and hype teams get results in the judging process.\n· The Chili Cook off Committee will provide gloves, bowls and spoons for tasting, onions, cheese and Fritos, drinks, voting paraphernalia, and running commentary.\n· Winners will be announced and prizes awarded immediately after judging.\n· Awards will be given for the best chilis and best presentation.\n· Trash talking with kindness is accepted.\n· Name your chili inspiration and be creative.\nSign up your fabulous concoction here.\nIf you have any questions, contact the office at office@stjamesaustin.org.\n
