DESCRIPTION:St. James’ has a long history of community service on the 3rd Saturday of the month.\nOn Sept 18, 9-11 am, we will be volunteering with Austin Baptist Chapel – Angel House Soup Kitchen. We will meet at 908 E Cesar Chavez for our 9 – 11am shift.\nWe will be prepping items for breakfast and lunch sacks and preparing cups of soup for the lunch meal.\nRSVP HERE to let Susan Gezana know if you’re able to join us as we get to know this community group and serve our neighbors.\nOur plan is to have different volunteer opportunities each month with different community groups. Our hope is to offer a wide range of opportunities that the entire family can participate in.  Since we continue to be in Covid Stage 5, our volunteer opportunities are limited by both the community groups and our volunteers.  But this will not hinder our investigation into ways to serve and make this world a better place to live.\nMark your calendars for the 3rd Saturday of each month for a chance to Serve our community.
