DESCRIPTION:As we prepare to step into the season of Advent which sweeps us up into the imminent reality of God’s kingdom, we look to the Gospel of Mark.  Mark’s gospel is swift and urgent, enticing us to perceive this reality and to do God’s work now before time slips away from us.  Hearing the multitude of voices from our community, St. James’ will reinvigorate the tradition of oral storytelling by tracing the entire arc of Mark’s story while inviting new revelations for our lives today.  Join us online on December 5th at 1:00 pm as we read the Gospel According to Mark from beginning to end.  Everyone, no matter your biblical familiarity, is invited to participate in this storytelling event.\nPlease reach out to Rev.
