Tobin was born and raised on a dairy farm in Ohio. He moved his family to the Austin area in 1980. Now they live in Cedar Creek, just this side of Bastrop. After raising five children and working as a visual communicator for thirty years, in 2010, he finished another degree at St. Edward’s University studying Organizational Communications.
Tobin has been a part of administrative and organizational work in several growing, thriving organizations. “St. James’ Episcopal Church is the most exciting place to be right now. When you combine the heritage and culture with the opportunity for growth, it is obvious that God has wonderful plans for this parish! The people are so warm, welcoming, and loving, that God’s plans for this church to grow must be successful!”
When he is not working, Tobin enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren, family and friends.
