Ministry of Congregational Involvement

What is my purpose as a Christian? Have you ever thought about what your response might be to that question?

 

• Evangelism – expected of every member – Matthew 28:19
• Identify and use the gifts God has given – at home, community, employment, congregation – Romans 12:3-8
• Giving back – Actions which flow in response to God’s demonstrated love, grace an mercy – 2 Corinthians 8:7-8, 10-15

 

The ministry of congregational involvement focuses on the following purposes:There are many people who attend Mass on a regular basis who are searching for or feel disconnected from their ‘purpose’, their ministry. God wants everyone to be full participants in God’s ministry in the world. My task is to assist each person, when ready, to identify and connect the gifts, talents and resources that God has placed in the congregation with the needs of the community and the needs of the congregation. The purposes listed above will bring the Kingdom of God closer to the day to day realities of earth through the Christ like, ordinary yet intentional behaviors we do every day. Ordinary behaviors which God makes ‘extraordinary’ to demonstrate to the world that we follow the Christ.
